I’ve recently got a 4k TV and I want to know which is the best AV receiver I can get to maximize my experience while watching TV. Thank you!

I recommend the Yamaha AVENTAGE RX-A670. Has a big power output and is not very expensive and works great with 4k.

Pioneer VSX-LX102 is among the best for 4k TV as it already has has audio decoders for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X (this is important to have). The power is not the best at 80wpc but it’s also not bad either, considering it’s price at $350.

The Pioneer VSX-LX102 is priced so low for what it can do! If it has 100wpc or more it would have been the best!

Too bad this only has 4 HDMI inputs – could have had 6 or more and that would have been a lot better.

What you need is the Sony STRDN1080. It’s relatively inexpensive compared to other models and it will give you a great experience on your 4k TV. Believe me: you don’t need anything else!

Just noticed that this is the number 1 bestseller on Amazon right now which should say something about its quality. And yes, I agree with you that this is the best av receiver for 4k TV.

That Sony you mentioned looks really nice with 130wpc (the power it has for those that don’t know what this is). This is even powerful enough to power high-end home theater speakers which is pretty cool for such a “cheap” av receiver.
