My suggestion: Denon AVR-X3400H. 105wpc will give you all you need and (what I like most) you can use the Amazon Alexa voice commands to control everything from streaming to volume or input switching.

A second vote for the Yamaha RX-V683. You’ll probably find it for as low as $550 and there’s nothing better in this price range. Nothing! It “only” has 90wpc but don’t be fooled by that. It’s probably just as powerful as a Denon or Sonny or Onkyo with a 105wpc or more.

I would go with a Denon AVR S730H.

Pros:
1. It has the Dolby Atmos and DTS:X audio decoders.
2. It’s cheap at $350
3. Has great reviews so people are happy with it
4. Denon is a good, reliable brand
5. HEOS wireless music streaming is very good
6. Many features that other (even higher priced models) don’t have
7. 6 HDMI inputs (not perfect as 8 would have been great, but it’s pretty good)

Cons:
1. The power output is nothing to write home about at just 75wpc
