QED says that it has designed the XT25 as a first upgrade cable, and it’s easy to see why. The company is known for crafting stylish, high quality cables, and this one is no different.
The XT25 is the latest entry-level speaker cable from the cable market, and is a perfect fit for systems of all types — from a basic stereo configuration, to an elaborate home cinema one, or even expensive and expansive custom installs.
It comes with a 2.5mm² cross-sectional area, which makes it ideal for longer runs, and all speaker types, in particular floorstanders.
QED has ensured that the XT25 adheres to the principles outlined in its recently updated Sound of Science Report, which is available as a PDF file. The company also offer unlimited lifetime warranty, which is excellent when you consider its entry level price point.
Relatively speaking, of course.
As for pricing, XT25 will cost £6 per meter cold-welded with QED’s 4mm Airloc plugs or spades, while a 3 meters pair will cost around £70.
The QED XT25 was stocked in the UK in November, while retailers across the globe are set to receive stock in December. You can out find more information about this launch by clicking this link.
